Santuario La Crusc

The Santuario Santa Croce, or La Crusc in Ladin, is a church situated at an altitude of 2,045m and built more than 600 years ago. The symbol of the village of Badia but also of the valley as a whole, the church stands against the stunning backdrop of Sasso Croce. The Santuario La Crusc is easily accessible by cable car in both summer and winter, or on foot setting off from Oies or San Leonardo. Another wonderful path leading to this magical place passes through the Armentara meadows in the Fanes-Senes-Braies natural park, a charming route suitable for families and cyclists. However you choose to reach this spot, the views of the Puez-Odle plateau and the villages of Alta Badia at the bottom of the valley will be well worth the effort.
